Nights of Eternity Controls

Nights of Eternity uses standard Roblox movement plus per-character HUD abilities and two arcade minigames. This page is how to actually press those things under chase pressure. It does not invent extra hotkeys the HUD does not show. Role strategy lives in How to Play Survivor and How to Play Killer. Cabinet spawn rules live in Arcade Objectives. Chase decisions live in How to Survive. New players should still skim Getting Started. The index is the Guides Hub.

The Phone Guy clip on this page is a useful input demo: Taunt is a 3-second stun you fire as a discrete button, Repair is a channel you must not walk off, and Ongoing Repairs only grows if the stun actually lands.

Movement (PC and mobile)

On PC, move with WASD (or arrow keys), jump with Space, and look with the mouse. Right mouse drag pans the camera if you are not in shift-lock. Enable Shift Lock if you need the camera glued behind you for loops; turn it off if it makes arcade dragging harder. Jump is for small pizzeria geometry, not for outplaying Pounce. There is no extra secret dash documented on this wiki; if the HUD does not show a dash, do not wait for one.

On mobile, the left joystick moves, the right side looks, jump is an on-screen button, and abilities are the labeled buttons stacked on the right. Arcade minigames that need dragging (Puppet gift boxes) are easier with a thumb already on the cabinet UI; do not start a Puppet set while your jump finger is covering the box.

Walk into a glowing cabinet to start the objective. If the prompt does not appear, you are on the wrong collision or a teammate already owns that machine. Look for the glow color before you commit the walk.

Arcade inputs

Old Man Consequences. Time the input when the fish is under the line. You need 8 fish. The skill is patience: early taps miss, late taps miss, and a miss is a freeze that lets Springtrap walk into Slash range. Watch the fish, not the killer, until you decide to abort. Abort by leaving the cabinet, not by mashing.

Puppet. Drag gift boxes onto matching-color souls. You need 4 repetitions. Grab, move, release on the correct soul. Wrong color is a wasted repetition. Camera control during a drag is worse than during OMC, so start Puppet only when a sentinel is watching or the room is empty.

Five sets of three cabinets spawn from six spots; finishing one cabinet is 20 seconds off the timer. Input quality matters more than speed. A clean 8-fish at 90% accuracy beats a panicked 4-fish that gets you downed. Full objective routing is on Arcade Objectives.

Survivor ability buttons

Abilities are on the HUD for the character you queued. Press the matching button; do not copy Q/E guesses from other Roblox games.

  • Night Guard: Overtime (speed), Mask (Invisibility plus Undetectable), Pizza (heal that also charges Overtime). Mask is a press you save for the M1 commit. Pizza is a press after you already turned a corner. Overtime is a press to reach a set or extend a loop.
  • Phone Guy: Taunt (3-second stun), Repair (channeled heal), Ongoing Repairs (passive +10 HP and max HP per stun, cap 110). Taunt is a 3-second stun: press it when the killer is in range, then start Repair or run. If you press Repair first, the channel dies when you have to sprint.
  • Evan: Plushie aura (20 HP to others) and Flashlight (Helpless plus Slowness). Point Flashlight at the killer, not at the floor. Stand in range for Plushie; it does not snipe across FNaF 1.
  • Michael: Shocker (slow zone) and Self Shock (10 HP plus speed). Place Shocker on the floor the killer must cross, then Self Shock to leave. Do not Self Shock into a wall.
  • Henry: Brace (parry), Strike (stun), Windup (charges), Building Momentum (extra Strike charges). Brace is a timing press against an incoming M1. Strike is a press you can store. Do not dump every charge on a killer who is already leaving.
  • Cassidy: Torment (AOE laugh, charges ITS ME, slow plus resist), ITS ME (heal or stun by charges), Rift (portal to the furthest arcade). Torment is for groups. ITS ME is a spend. Rift is a placement tool; look at the destination before you press it.

Charlie Emily has been shown as early-access survivor footage; Vanessa is scrapped. If a button appears on an early-access kit, trust the HUD label, not a leaked key list.

Killer attacks

Killers mix a basic melee with specials. Face the survivor, press the M1 that matches range, then spend the special.

  • Springtrap (1000 HP): Slash 20 plus Bleeding when you can tag and leave; Punch 35 when you are already in their model; Seek aura when you lost people; Cleave axe throw when they are on a cabinet or exiting a hall.
  • Foxy (800 HP): Slash 25, Pounce 40 as the opener from Sneak, Sneak for Invisibility plus speed, Dive 23 as the follow-up movement hit.
  • Freddy (1000 HP): Swing 26, Mic Throw 15 plus aura as a tag, Lullaby plush for Slowness and Weakness, Phase for Invisibility plus reveal.
  • Withered Bonnie (1000 HP): Punch 26 anti-heal, Grab dash 35, Scream slow at 80 studs, Reveal 5 seconds, Payback shortens incoming stuns. The Puppet killer is not playable yet.

Do not bind mental shortcuts like always Slash. Range decides the button. Throwing Cleave at a survivor already inside Punch range is a missed 35.

Reading the HUD under chase

Status icons use the names on status effects and Roman numeral levels. If you see Bleeding after a 20-damage Slash, that is your cue to Pizza or Repair, not to sit at OMC. If you see Helpless, your next ability press may do nothing useful; move first. If LMS has started, ignore Invisibility and Undetectable and play the highlight.

Practice order: movement around one FNaF 1 loop, then OMC 8-fish with no killer, then Puppet 4-drags, then Phone Guy Taunt into Repair, then a Springtrap game where you only Slash or Punch on purpose. Confirm kits on Players and pick a job with the survivor picker before you blame the binds.

Controls in this game are timing, not a hidden keyboard layer. Press what the HUD labels, abort cabinets early, and never start a channel in the animatronic’s face.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What are the default movement keys?

WASD or arrows to move, Space to jump, mouse to look. Mobile uses a joystick plus on-screen buttons. Ability keys are the HUD buttons for your character, not a copied layout from another asym.

How do I complete arcade cabinets?

Old Man Consequences: press when the fish is under the line, 8 fish. Puppet: drag boxes to matching-color souls, 4 repetitions. Spawn counts are in Arcade Objectives.

Why does Phone Guy Repair keep cancelling?

Repair is channeled. Stun first with Taunt (3 seconds), then heal. Kit details are on Phone Guy and in How to Play Survivor.

How do I aim killer specials?

Face the target, use Slash/Swing when you can tag, Punch/Pounce/Grab when you are in range, and Cleave or Mic Throw for people leaving a cabinet. Full hunt plans are in How to Play Killer.

Do Invisibility buttons work in Last Man Standing?

Almost never. LMS highlights both sides. Mask, Sneak, and Phase lose most stealth value; stall instead using How to Survive.
