Getting Started in Nights of Eternity
Lobby, free roster, first arcade set, and what Last Man Standing actually changes.
Your first night in Nights of Eternity should be a survivor round on a free character. The game is 1-vs-all on Roblox, max nine players: one killer, everyone else trying to finish arcade cabinets and still be alive when the night timer ends. ST-GB Team released the place on 25 March 2026. This Getting Started page is the onboarding layer of the Guides Hub. Role depth lives in How to Play Survivor and How to Play Killer.
Before you press play
Open the Roblox place (107717448640907), join a server, and stay in the lobby long enough to see the character shop. You do not need a purchase. Survivor starters are Night Guard and Phone Guy. Killer starter is Springtrap. If a friend already owns Evan, Michael, Henry, Foxy, or Freddy, still learn the free kits first so you understand Overtime, Taunt, and Slash before you spend.
There are no verified public codes as of September 2026. Skip videos that paste codes from other FNAF Roblox games. If a code ever ships, redeem it with the steps on how to redeem and confirm it is not on expired codes. The Codes Hub is the only list this wiki trusts.
Use default Roblox movement: WASD, jump, mouse look. Ability buttons sit on the HUD; do not guess hotkeys from other asyms. Cabinet timing and stun windups are spelled out in Nights of Eternity Controls.
Your first survivor loadout
Queue Night Guard if you want a selfish survivalist. Overtime is a speed tool, Mask grants Invisibility and Undetectable, and Pizza heals you while charging Overtime. Queue Phone Guy if you want a beginner sentinel. Taunt stuns the killer for 3 seconds, Repair is a channeled heal, and Ongoing Repairs adds +10 HP and max HP each time you land a stun, up to 110. Most new players should take Phone Guy for the first handful of nights because a 3-second stun is easier to value than Mask timing.
Do not buy Evan ($500), Michael ($600), or Henry ($700) until you have completed several arcade sets under chase pressure. Cassidy is early access; Charlie Emily has been shown as early-access survivor footage; Vanessa is scrapped. Roster pages under Players and the survivor picker exist so you do not spend on the wrong job.
What you do in the building
Maps are FNaF 1, FNaF 2, and FNaF 3. A fourth map is only teased. On every map, six spots can hold arcade clusters, but a round always places five sets of three cabinets. Cabinets glow in the minigame color. Walk to a glowing set, start the cabinet, and finish the minigame:
- Old Man Consequences: time your inputs when the fish is under the line. You need 8 fish.
- Puppet: drag gift boxes onto matching-color souls. You need 4 successful repetitions.
Each finished arcade cuts the night timer by 20 seconds. That is the only objective that shortens the round. Chasing the killer for extra damage is not a win condition. If the hunter is on you, stop the cabinet and run; a dead player completes zero sets. Full spawn logic and when to drop the cabinet sit in Arcade Objectives. Chase technique sits in How to Survive.
Protect the team the same way the Roblox description says: body-block only if you have a stun or a heal ready, ping the killer’s last room, and do not pull the hunter onto a teammate mid-minigame. Phone Guy’s Taunt is the cleanest peel. Night Guard’s Mask is for breaking line of sight, not for standing still in the open.
Killer on night one
When the game assigns you killer, pick Springtrap. He is free, 1000 HP, and an all-rounder: Slash deals 20 and applies Bleeding, Punch deals 35, Seek is an aura, Cleave throws the axe. Do not buy Foxy ($800) or Freddy ($1100) until Slash, Punch, and Cleave feel automatic. Withered Bonnie is early access. The Puppet is upcoming.
Your job is to create downs before five arcade sets delete the clock. Patrol spawn candidates, interrupt cabinets, and spend M1s that match the situation: Slash to stack Bleeding on a runner, Punch when you are already in range for a heavier hit, Cleave when someone is leaving a hallway. Seek when you lost the group, not as a panic button in a stun. Full hunt plans are in How to Play Killer.
Last Man Standing on night one
When one survivor is left, the timer sets to 1:14, both sides get highlighted, LMS music plays, and Invisibility or Undetectable is almost useless. Night Guard’s Mask will not hide you. Phone Guy still has Taunt and Repair. As killer, stop sweeping empty rooms and run at the highlight. As the last survivor, you are no longer farming cabinets unless a set is already under your cursor; you are stalling 74 seconds.
After your first night
Loading in once is not a strategy. Next sessions should be deliberate:
- One survivor game focused only on finishing cabinets (see Arcade Objectives).
- One survivor game focused only on living a chase (see How to Survive).
- One Springtrap game where you refuse to tunnel the first person you see.
- Then open the survivors tier list and killers tier list so you know what the lobby is buying.
Track status names on status effects (Bleeding, Weakness, Damage, Slowness, Speed, Stun, Vitality, Invisibility, Undetectable, Suppression, Helpless, Desperation, Overclocked). Read updates before you assume a kit still matches a March 2026 video. If you install third-party scripts, start at script safety, not a random executor page.
Play the free pair until Taunt, Mask, Pizza, Slash, and Cleave are muscle memory. That is the whole beginner bar. Everything else in this wiki is a specialization on top of those five inputs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Should I buy a survivor before my first game?
No. Play Night Guard or Phone Guy first. Paid kits make more sense after you can finish cabinets under pressure, as covered in How to Play Survivor.
What is the actual survivor objective?
Complete arcade sets (20 seconds off the timer each) and still be alive when the night ends. Spawn rules and both minigames are in Arcade Objectives.
What happens when only one survivor is left?
Last Man Standing sets the timer to 1:14, highlights both players, and nearly nullifies Invisibility and Undetectable. Survive that window using How to Survive.
Which killer should I learn first?
Springtrap is free and covers Slash, Punch, Seek, and Cleave. Buy Foxy or Freddy only after that kit, using How to Play Killer.
Do codes work on day one?
There are no verified public codes as of September 2026. Use Codes and how to redeem when one actually appears.
Where do I learn buttons and cabinet inputs?
See Nights of Eternity Controls for movement, Old Man Consequences timing, Puppet dragging, and HUD ability buttons.
