Nights of Eternity Springtrap

Free All-Rounder with Slash, Punch, Seek, and Cleave.

Springtrap

Springtrap is the free All-Rounder killer in Nights of Eternity. Health is 1000. Walk is 8.5, run is 28. Stamina uses the default killer sheet: 110, drain 9.5, gain 32. The weapon is an axe. The kit quote is I always come back. If you only play one animatronic, play this one until Seek, Cleave, and Punch are automatic. Foxy, Freddy, and Withered Bonnie all assume you already know how a night is paced.

ST-GB Team released the game on 25 March 2026. Maps are FNaF 1, FNaF 2, and FNaF 3. Every arcade survivors finish removes twenty seconds. Last Man Standing sets the clock to 1:14 and highlights both auras, which is when this kit stops poking and starts committing. This is not Bite by Night’s Rotten and not a FNAF Eternal Nights animatronic. Numbers below are for this roster. The full list is on the killer roster.

Slash

Slash deals 20 plus bleed for 5 seconds. Windup is 0.3 seconds. Cooldown is 1.8 seconds. This is your M1. Bleed is why you do not need to land Punch on every chase. Two Slashes and a walk often outpace a Night Guard who is waiting to eat Pizza. Do not cancel a Slash into Punch unless you already have the survivor trapped. Status names are on status effects.

Punch

Punch deals 35. You take 70 percent slowness for 1.5 seconds and 10 percent weakness for 10 seconds. Windup is 0.5 seconds. Cooldown is 20 seconds. Punch is a confirm, not a poke. The self-slowness is the whole risk: Phone Guy Taunt, Henry Strike, and Cassidy ITS ME all love a Springtrap who just planted his feet. Use Punch when the survivor is already slowed by Cleave, when they are in a Pizza or Repair windup, or when Last Man Standing has nowhere left to run.

Weakness on you lasts 10 seconds. That window is when you Slash and Cleave, not when you take a second melee commit. If you Punch into a stun, Enraged is the consolation prize.

Seek

Seek reveals every survivor aura. You take 60 percent slowness for 2 seconds, then 20 percent speed for 3 seconds and 10 percent strength for 4 seconds. Windup is 2.2 seconds. Cooldown is 25 seconds. The 2.2-second windup is the longest button on the kit. Do not Seek in a doorway Phone Guy is holding. Seek from a room you already cleared, read the auras, then use the speed and strength to hit the person on a cabinet, not the person already looping you.

Seek is also how you stop losing to arcade routing. If three auras are stacked on one cluster, walk there. If they are split, Cleave the closest runner and let bleed work. Enhanced Vision is a Freddy trait, not yours — Seek is the replacement.

Cleave

Cleave throws a boomerang axe for 20. You take 30 percent slowness for 1.5 seconds. The survivor takes 20 percent slowness for 3 seconds. Cooldown is 22 seconds. This is the ranged tool that makes Springtrap an All-Rounder instead of a pure M1 character. Throw it down hallways, around FNaF 1 corners, and at people leaving a cabinet animation. The self-slowness is shorter than Punch, so Cleave is the safer opener. Land Cleave, Slash while they are slow, hold Punch for the tile they have to step on.

Do not Cleave at point-blank as a second Slash. You pay slowness and the boomerang is wasted. Do not Cleave into a Cassidy Rift you cannot see the exit of.

Traits and skins

Enraged grants 20 percent strength after a stun. Brick Wall is stun resistance. Together they explain why Springtrap stays playable into Phone Guy plus Henry lobbies. You still hate a 3-second Taunt, but you leave it with more damage than Foxy’s 800 HP pool does.

Skins: Rust $600, Spring Bonnie $1000, Slaughter $3000 with a custom chase theme, Swag VIP. Slaughter is the only one that calls out extra audio. None of the others change Slash math. Buy cosmetics after you can win nights on Default.

Learning order

Night one: Slash only, learn cabinet spawns from arcade objectives. Night two: add Cleave as the opener. Night three: Seek once per 25 seconds from safe rooms. Night four: Punch only as a confirm. Read how to play killer for pressure, controls for binds, and how to survive the night so you know when Night Guard Mask stops working. Rankings sit on the killer tier list.

Against Night Guard, Slash the Mask windup or ignore the 5-second fade and walk to the next arcade. Against Phone Guy, never Punch into Taunt range; Cleave first. Against Cassidy, assume she can laugh while moving and save Brick Wall for ITS ME. Against Withered Bonnie in the same lobby you cannot queue him — he is the other killer. If you own Bonnie instead, his page is the dash kit; this page is the axe kit. Patch direction is on the roadmap. If you still need survivor matchups, open the survivor roster or the Players Hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Springtrap free?

Yes. Springtrap is the free All-Rounder killer. Rust, Spring Bonnie, Slaughter, and Swag are cosmetics. Slaughter includes a custom chase theme.

What does Seek actually do?

Seek reveals all survivor auras. You take 60 percent slowness for 2 seconds, then 20 percent speed for 3 seconds and 10 percent strength for 4 seconds. Windup is 2.2 seconds, cooldown 25 seconds.

When should I Punch instead of Slash?

Punch is 35 damage with 70 percent slowness on you for 1.5 seconds and 10 percent weakness for 10 seconds. Use it to confirm a slowed or busy survivor, not as your first hit in an open hallway.

How does Cleave work?

Cleave is a boomerang axe for 20 damage. You take 30 percent slowness for 1.5 seconds; the survivor takes 20 percent slowness for 3 seconds. Cooldown is 22 seconds. Throw it as an opener, not as a point-blank Slash.

What do Enraged and Brick Wall do?

Enraged grants 20 percent strength after a stun. Brick Wall is stun resistance. They are why Springtrap still functions against Phone Guy, Henry, and Cassidy lobbies.

Should new killers buy Foxy or Freddy first?

No. Stay on Springtrap until Seek and Cleave are automatic. Foxy is 800 HP ambush. Freddy is a $1100 zoner. Both assume you already know arcade pressure.
