Cassidy Update

Cassidy is the survivor who split Nights of Eternity’s post-launch year in half. Before her, public lobbies were Night Guard loops and Phone Guy shock-waves. After early access and the wider drop event around 31 August 2026, pubs gained an S-tier kit that can slow a killer, live through the swing, and heal without finding Evan. This page is the update log for that window. It is not a leak dump. It is not a fake patch number. For the rest of the timeline, use the updates hub. For what is still unreleased, use the roadmap.

ST-GB Team shipped Cassidy the same way they have been shipping later characters: early access first so the kit can be seen, then a drop event that puts her in more queues. If you missed the event window, check the live shop in Play Nights of Eternity on Roblox. Token prices move; this wiki will not freeze a number that the client can change tomorrow.

What the kit actually does

Community nights and the mid-page gameplay video agree on three verbs.

Torment. Cassidy holds the killer’s attention with a large hitbox, slows them, and wraps herself in resistance while the channel runs. Pubs that swing into the resistance window donate chases. Killers who wait the channel and then commit look like they have hands. You can move during it, which is why it feels greedier than a planted sentry.

Self-heal. The second button (It’s Me in community talk) restores her without a support teammate. That is the difference between A and S in solo queue. Phone Guy still needs the lobby to stop dying. Cassidy can top herself and walk back to a cabinet.

Rift. A reposition. Strong, not a second life. Use it to leave a lost hallway or to reach an arcade cluster, not to taunt inside Springtrap’s swing for content.

Together those buttons are why the survivor tier list parks her next to Phone Guy in S. Phone Guy is the free stun that stacks HP. Cassidy is the paid-or-event carry that does not need the lobby to be smart. The Cassidy roster page is the kit home; this update page is the “why the meta moved” home.

How pubs changed

Heal value went up, then anti-heal value went up. Withered Bonnie early access reads as an answer: a grab that fights the “I will just heal” plan. Evan did not become S; he is still B because he dies fast, and Cassidy already brought a selfish heal. Michael stayed C because shockers did not get better when a ghost child entered the shop.

Last Man Standing still jumps to 1:14 with auras on. Cassidy likes that rule because a self-heal plus resistance is a 1v1 plan. Undetectable still falls off in LMS; her kit was never a stealth main anyway. See status effects for the roman-numeral math that torment and Weakness play with.

If you do not own her, the night is not unwinnable. Phone Guy is still S. Night Guard is still the picker’s new-player lock. Buying every Cassidy skin does not add torment damage. The showcase videos are cosmetics.

What this update did not do

It did not add verified promo codes. It did not replace arcade objectives. It did not scrap Springtrap. It did not ship Puppet. It did not revive Vanessa. Influencers who titled videos with random version numbers were guessing. We will not copy those numbers onto this wiki.

It also did not make scripts legal. A “Cassidy script” paste in comments is either the Speed Booster on the scripts hub wearing a new thumbnail, a cookie stealer, or a tool for a different Eternal Nights game. Read script safety and then play the kit.

How to play around her

As survivor teammates. Let her torment. Do not stand in the same doorway stealing hits and then dying first. Complete cabinets while she holds the animatronic. That is how S-tier support is supposed to feel.

As killer. Do not swing on instinct into the resistance window. If you have Bonnie, the grab is the conversation with her heal. If you have Springtrap, play the full kit and treat torment as a cooldown you can wait. If you have Freddy, do not spend the setup time watching her glow while three cabinets finish.

As a buyer. If your tokens are low, skip her and stay on Phone Guy. If you already understand how to play survivor and you want a selfish win condition, she is the purchase the tier list is talking about.

The drop around 31 August 2026 is the date to remember. Everything after that — Bonnie, Charlie, the 6 September 2026 Roblox stamp — sits on the updates hub and roadmap. Cassidy is the character who made those later answers necessary.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

When did Cassidy come to Nights of Eternity?

She ran early access first, then a wider drop event around 31 August 2026. Check the live shop for current access; this page will not freeze a token price.

What are Cassidy's three tools?

Torment (slow plus resistance while she holds the killer), a self-heal, and rift for reposition. That package is why she is S on the survivor tier list.

Do I need Cassidy to win pubs?

No. Phone Guy is still S and free. Cassidy is the carry if you own her, not a requirement for First Night.

Did the Cassidy drop add codes?

Not that we verified. The codes hub is still empty. Ignore strings posted under her thumbnail from other Roblox games.

Who counters Cassidy?

Withered Bonnie's anti-heal grab is the cleanest killer answer. Springtrap still wins if you refuse to swing into torment resistance. See the killer tier list.

Where should I go after this page?

The Cassidy kit page, then the roadmap for Charlie Emily and Puppet, then the updates hub for the dated timeline.
