Five sets, six spawn spots, two minigames, 20 seconds off the clock per finish.

Arcade Objectives

Arcades are the survivor win condition in Nights of Eternity. Stuns, heals, and loops only buy time. Cabinets spend that time. If your team treats minigames as optional flavor, the killer only has to down people and the night never shrinks. This page is spawn rules, both minigames, timer math, and when to walk away. Chase technique is How to Survive. Who should sit on a cabinet is How to Play Survivor. Killer interruption is How to Play Killer. Onboarding is Getting Started. Inputs are Nights of Eternity Controls. The index is the Guides Hub.

Spawn rules

Every round:

  • Six spots on the map can hold an arcade cluster.
  • The round always places five sets.
  • Each set is three cabinets.
  • Cabinets glow in the minigame color, so you can tell Old Man Consequences from Puppet before you walk into the room.

Maps are FNaF 1, FNaF 2, and FNaF 3. Learn the six candidate rooms on each. A fourth map is only teased by Goo Bee; do not wait for it in current queues. Max server size is nine, so you can have eight people pathing five sets. That is too many bodies in one cluster. Two players per unfinished set is the cap; extra people should peel or rotate.

When you spawn, do not all run to the nearest glow. Split toward different candidates. If three sets are already claimed, the fourth and fifth still matter: five completions is five times 20 seconds.

Timer math

Completing an arcade reduces the round timer by 20 seconds. That is the only objective that shortens the night. Last Man Standing overwrites the clock to 1:14 when one survivor remains, so late-game cabinets are usually worse than stalling unless a set is already under your cursor and the killer is not on you.

Five finished cabinets are 100 seconds. That is a full extra minute and forty seconds the killer does not get. Eight unfinished cabinets because everyone chased Springtrap is how a good loop team still loses. Do the sets in the first half of the night while Mask, Sneak, and Phase still function. After the highlight, Invisibility and Undetectable are almost useless and you are no longer a farm squad.

Old Man Consequences cabinets

Glow tells you it is this minigame. You time inputs when the fish is under the line. You need 8 fish. Missing the window is worse than waiting one beat: a miss is a free chance for the killer to close while you are locked in the cabinet animation.

Practical rules:

  • Start OMC when the room is clear or a sentinel is watching the door.
  • Count fish. If you are at 6/8 and you hear a chase enter the room, leave. Two fish are not worth a down.
  • Do not stand in a stack of three people on one OMC cabinet. The other two cabinets in the set still need players, and a Cleave or Scream will hit the pile.
  • After a finish, immediately look at the other two cabinets in the set before rotating across the map. Sets of three exist so you clear a room, not so you cherry-pick one machine and leave.

Puppet cabinets

You drag gift boxes to matching-color souls. You need 4 repetitions. Color matching is the whole skill: wrong color is a wasted drag and a longer sit. Use the glow to confirm you sat at a Puppet set, then look at soul colors before you grab a box.

Practical rules:

  • Drag, confirm the color, release. Do not flail boxes across the cabinet while the killer is in the hallway.
  • Four repetitions is shorter than eight fish, but each drag still occupies your camera. Treat it as a channel. If Foxy can Sneak into the room, you will not see him until Pounce 40 lands.
  • Cassidy’s Rift portals to the furthest arcade. That destination is often a Puppet or OMC set nobody wanted to walk to. Use Rift to start that far set, not to escape LMS.

The upcoming Puppet killer is unrelated to these cabinets. Do not skip Puppet minigames because the killer roster lists Puppet as future content.

Who does cabinets, who peels

Cabinet primary: Night Guard (can Mask out if tagged), Michael (can Self Shock away), Cassidy (can Rift to a far set). Peel: Phone Guy Taunt, Henry Brace/Strike, Evan Flashlight Helpless plus slow. If the only person who can stun is also the only person who knows the minigames, you will lose either the chase or the clock. Teach one other player OMC and Puppet.

Night Guard should not Mask in the middle of a successful 7/8 fish unless Slash is already in motion. Phone Guy should not sit on a cabinet while a teammate is being tunneled ten studs away. Cassidy should Rift when the furthest set is still dark, then start that set, then leave if the killer follows the portal.

Killer pressure on cabinets

Expect Springtrap to Cleave into a glowing room and Slash the person still in the minigame. Expect Foxy to Sneak in. Expect Freddy to Mic Throw from the door and Lullaby the loop you wanted after you cancel. Expect Withered Bonnie to Scream from 80 studs and Reveal the Mask user who thought they could finish a fish invisible.

Your counter is not to out-aim the minigame. It is to cancel, take the corner, and come back. Full chase counters are on How to Survive. If you are the killer reading this, your job is the opposite: hit the glow first, as How to Play Killer says.

Routing the five sets

  1. Call the nearest two sets at spawn.
  2. Clear all three cabinets before rotating, unless the killer has committed to that room.
  3. Leave one player as a scout on the next candidate so the team does not walk into a finished glow.
  4. Track remaining sets, not remaining health. A 110 HP Phone Guy who never touched a cabinet donated the night.
  5. Stop routing new sets once LMS starts, unless a cabinet is already active.

Read status on status effects before you sit: Bleeding plus an 8-fish game is how people die at 7/8. Confirm roster jobs on Players if someone queued a kit that cannot peel. Patch changes to objectives will land in updates, not in rumor threads.

Arcades are the night. Treat every glow as 20 seconds you either take or give away.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many arcade sets spawn each round?

Always five sets of three cabinets, chosen from six possible spots. They glow in the minigame color. See Getting Started if you have not sat at a cabinet yet.

How much time does a completed arcade save?

20 seconds off the round timer. Last Man Standing later forces 1:14, so farm sets before only one survivor remains. Stall rules are in How to Survive.

What are the two minigames?

Old Man Consequences: time inputs when the fish is under the line, 8 fish. Puppet: drag gift boxes to matching-color souls, 4 repetitions. Button-level help is in Nights of Eternity Controls.

Should I finish a cabinet while the killer is in the room?

No. Cancel, loop, then return. Sentinel peel jobs are in How to Play Survivor.

How does Cassidy interact with arcades?

Rift portals to the furthest arcade so you can start the set nobody walked to. Kit details are on Cassidy. Do not Rift as a Last Man Standing hide.

Do killers have an arcade objective?

No. Killers win by eliminating survivors before the clock ends. Interrupting glowing sets is how they keep the 20 seconds, as How to Play Killer describes.
